  This pub has changed hands over the past year, and what an improvement it has made to the place. The massive beer garden is one of The Ships best assets, its a sun trap! But also has shaded places for the kids. It has a boot/slide at the end that keeps the kids amused. The beer is veeery good, so my husband says and I was impressed with the wine, Shiraz was beautiful!
  There is a new chef, I believe she is called Laura, after a few times of eating there over our holiday we got talking to her. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the carverys are well worth the money. The menu has been improved with a childrens menu and a wider range of small and large meals for adults.
  Really good family atmosphere, nice, friendly locals too. They have some great bands that play in the beer garden.
  
  Would definately go again! This place made our holiday a lot more exciting.
